As a University that is focused on impacting our communities and the country as a whole, UniFiji strives to provide modern facilities for its students. Its libraries are equipped with the latest technologies, empowering students with access to the most recent information on Medical Sciences, Information Technology, Law, Business, Economics, Accounting, Language and Literature and other spheres of interests. The Libraries maintain a wide range of collection of print resources in all areas of study and research as well as in general reading including special collections on Pacific, iTaukei and Hindi languages.
The Saweni Campus has four computer labs with access to the internet and printers. WiFi is available to all students in the Saweni and Suva Campuses. Recent additions to the facilities include new chairs and tables in the Saweni cafeteria, a new ATM near the security booth, new look to the bookshop, gym, phone charging kiosk machine and much more. The Suva Campus facilities have also been recently upgraded to include tow state-of-the-art-lecture theatres with a sitting capacity of 350 and 300 respectively, refurbishments to the cafeteria, labs and more.
The University has established additional computer labs in Centers around the country. The Centres are in Tavua, Lautoka, Sigatoka, Kinoya and Labasa. This will reduce travel costs and give better access to students in need.
The University has also invested half a million dollars to refurbish the main Saweni hall which is also utilized as a lecture theatre, with a seating capacity of five hundred and is fully air- conditioned
