Greetings and welcome to the Education Department which is located in the School of Humanities & Arts. The Department is proud of its national recognition as the premier provider of some of the cutting edge programs not offered at any other University in Fiji. The Department offers A Bachelor of Teaching Degree for primary teachers and Graduate Diploma in Teaching Degree for secondary school teachers. Programs within the Department of Education prepare graduates for professional careers in teaching, research, and professional practice. Master’s studies are offered in Educational Leadership and in Teaching. The Department is proud to offer Doctor of Education degree for established professional educators the chance to acquire an advanced qualification in the education field. We are driven by a desire to ensure that education helps everyone reach their full potential and contributes to building an open and inclusive society.
