MScREM offers a single multidisciplinary programme for postgraduate training in the energy, environment and climate change science sectors. It is ideal for energy engineers and middle managers for the country’s energy sector and is of relevance to both energy and climate change scientists. Its six semester-based courses provide a rigorous grounding in the essentials of renewable energy technologies and develop the decision-making skills for the energy industry. It provides a natural sequel to UniFiji’s newly introduced Postgraduate Diploma in Energy and Environment (PGDEEN).
Programme requirements and schedule
Programme structure: 6 taught courses and one minor thesis/industrial attachment.
Normal full-time duration: 2 years (Full-time mode) Admission pre-requisites: A Postgraduate Diploma in Energy and Environment (PGDEEN), or a BSc with a major in Physics, Chemistry, Environment, Engineering or related field with a GPA of 3.0 or above; mature status. |
