Greetings
The Ministry of Health will continue its vaccination programme at the Saweni Campus until Friday this week (June 4, 2021).
Hundreds of people. including many staff and students of the University, were vaccinated today at the campus.
The Ministry expressed its gratitude to the University for the facilities provided and the ease with which members of the public were accommodated in socially distanced seating arrangements while waiting for their jabs. The Ministry asked the University if it could extend its vaccination programme until Friday and the University has agreed.
Staff and students of the University are reminded to take the opportunity offered by the Ministry to have themselves and their families vaccinated at the campus for their convenience.

Faculty Seminar – “Fiji’s Economic Tragedy: Better Options 10 years beyond Covid-19 era”

Currently, the world and our country is going through the challenge of Covid-19. Many of us are not sure what lies ahead in the future. We are not quite sure whether our economy will pick up soon or not and how soon will our lives roll back to normal. All these remain uncertain. As such, Dr. Sunil Kumar, Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Fiji is presenting a seminar on Fiji’s Economy. The seminar will be held on Tuesday June 1 2021 at 10.00am via Google Meet.
