Global Korea Scholarship (GkS) at Kyungpook National University(KNU)

Successful applicants entering into graduate studies programs at KNU through the Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) are guaranteed scholarship. This scholarship supported by Korean Government (NIIED) is an excellent opportunity for students who would like to take part in graduate-level degree programs.

There are two tracks to apply for the GKS. One is via Korean Embassy in your country, and the other is directly to apply for Korean universities. For each track, please refer to links below. The application period at KNU is from February 12 to March 16, 2020.

The Australasian Hydrographic Society (AHS) Education Award

The Australasian Hydrographic Society (AHS) Education Award is open to students studying, or proposing to study, within a broad range of maritime disciplines including:

  • Hydrography – Nautical Charting – Surveying at Sea
  • Coastal Studies – Coastal Zone Management
  • Offshore Resource Surveys and Management
  • Port Development and Maritime Engineering
  • Law of the Sea
  • Marine Cartography
  • Environmental Studies
  • Marine Geology and Geophysics

The award is worth $3,500.00 AUD. Application for the award is open and will close on March 31.

UAE Scholarships in Artificial Intelligence

The Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) in Abu Dhabi is inviting applications for fully funded graduate studies. These are Postgraduate programmes (Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy) in Computer Vision, Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing.

The scholarship will entail benefits such as monthly allowance, health insurance and accommodation.

Applications opened in October, 2019 and registration will begin in August, 2020.
