The department provides a firm foundation in mathematics, particularly in pure mathematics, numerical analysis and statistics. They also cover all the essentials of computer science, with an emphasis on developing software, as well as more theoretical topics. The department is engaged in basic and applied world-class research. We work together with renowned research institutions, regional companies and global market leaders alike. Our research interest lies in the areas of machine learning, data science, software engineering, cybersecurity, calculus, statistics, generalised linear models, etc.
