The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shaista Shameem, welcomed Ms. Erika Rebhan and Ms. Ellinor Wahnströmfrom KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden. They will be doing a case study in Fiji for their MSc Project. Their project is ‘Emergency supply of energy during natural disasters in Fiji’ and the proposed study sites are Viseisei Village and Abaca Village. Dr Prasad from UniFiji is co-supervising the project with A/Prof Anders Malmquist from KTH.
These students will stay in Fiji till the end of June and during this time the students will be closely engaged with SOST-UniFiji.
